GREETINGS FROM AVAN
This website was created with the intention of helping you and hundreds of other scholars, to learn more about the program and pick up key skills to make the most memorable experiences. The World Scholar's Cup has been a life-changing program for me and I hope to play some part in making it that way for you.
You can find practically everything on this website for your WSC preparation needs (except maybe a black market for alpacas, I've no idea how to make that work). From notes on all six subject areas, to detailed guides about how to succeed in the events, to weekly debate motions for your team to discuss. So I'll leave you with the sentence I typed into this website when it first came online a year ago. Look around, take good care of your alpaca and best of luck at all your rounds! |
IntroductionsIf you'd like to acquaint yourself with the events of the WSC, don't be afraid to read the following articles. They are especially helpful for new scholars and/or uncertain parents (yes, those costs can be eye-watering). Pretty soon, you'll become one with the community!
|
SocialJust because you're learning about the WSC doesn't mean it has to be a lonely activity! An integral part of the program is connecting with others from many different countries. On this area of the site, find stories from scholars, memes from scholars and links to connect with more scholars.
|
UpdatesFrom debate motions, to writing topics, to updates on upcoming projects; this section of the website is updated every week with new activities, information, and updates for you and your team to soak in. Feel free to check in every now and again to keep up with AAR's activities.
